Azelaic acid has long been dermatology's quiet favourite — effective against redness, acne, and hyperpigmentation simultaneously, yet gentle enough for the sensitive skin types that need it most. Anua paired it with hyaluronic acid at a meaningful 10% concentration, creating a serum that calms rosacea-level redness while hydrating the barrier that most anti-redness products neglect entirely.

After cleansing and toning, dispense two to three drops and press gently into skin, focusing on areas of redness, rosacea, or post-acne marks. Follow with moisturiser. Suitable for both morning and evening use. Always follow with SPF in the morning. Start with once daily if new to azelaic acid and increase to twice daily as tolerance confirms.

- Skin that is broken, sunburned, or actively irritated — wait until healed
- May cause mild tingling or stinging on first use — this is normal for azelaic acid and should subside within minutes. If it persists, reduce frequency
- Do not layer with other strong exfoliating acids (AHA, BHA) or retinoids in the same routine without spacing — risk of irritation
- Patch test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before first use if you have highly reactive or allergy-prone skin
