Blackheads don't live on the surface — they form deep inside pores where oil, dead skin, and bacteria quietly oxidise into those stubborn dark dots that no amount of scrubbing will remove. COSRX understood this and built a BHA liquid that bypasses the surface entirely, penetrating into pores to dissolve the congestion at its source and preventing new blackheads from forming.

4% betaine salicylate — a gentler derivative of salicylic acid — delivers the pore-clearing power without the harsh dryness and irritation that traditional BHA products inflict. It's chemical exfoliation calibrated for consistency, not aggression. Used regularly, pores visibly shrink, blackheads dissolve, and skin develops the kind of clarity that scrubs and pore strips can only temporarily fake.

- Betaine Salicylate (4%) — a gentle BHA derivative that penetrates pores to dissolve blackheads, congestion, and trapped sebum without harsh stripping
- Willow Bark Water — a natural source of salicin that provides additional mild exfoliation and anti-inflammatory support
- Niacinamide — refines pore appearance, brightens, and strengthens the barrier during exfoliation

After cleansing, soak a cotton pad and sweep gently across the face, focusing on the T-zone and areas prone to blackheads. Alternatively, dispense a small amount onto fingertips and press into targeted areas. Follow with serum and moisturiser. Best used in the evening routine. Start with once daily and increase to twice daily as tolerance confirms. Always follow with SPF the next morning — BHA increases photosensitivity.

- Very dry or sensitive skin types should start with every other day and monitor carefully
